Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Fleet Service

Lube Mobile can be your fleet service team. We operate all over Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, and many other regional cities and towns. If you have a large fleet of vehicles working all over the country, or your fleet is constrained to a small part of it, Lube Mobile can be the solution to your fleet servicing needs. As a mobile fleet service team of mechanics, you’ll save on your costs, as you won’t need to have an employee take the vehicle to our workshop for servicing. We’ll come to your workplace, or anywhere that’s ‘near me’, and take care of all your car services, and car repairs as required.

As we’re a team of mobile mechanics, you can call on us to help out if one of your vehicles has broken down on a job site, and we’ll be there to get it back up and running. For the correct amount of fleet maintenance, we can offer a schedule that keeps your cars on the road for longer. By having the appropriate mobile fleet service that is structured properly, you’ll only have the minimum number of vehicles not available for use at one time.

What is a fleet service?

A fleet service is where a business has many cars and need them all taken care of for servicing and repairs. By going with one company to maintain your fleet offers you many different advantages, but the most important is that your vehicles will be serviced correctly and organised to be completed on time. At Lube Mobile, we offer fleet servicing, and as we come to your vehicles it is a convenient solution and you don’t need to be concerned about having someone deliver the vehicle to our workshop.

Lube Mobile offers a full-service structure, we can complete regular car services, car repairs, and tyre replacement. If there is ever a problem with a vehicle you can call on our team. As we are mobile, if you find one of your cars or trucks, have ceased to function properly and is stuck on the side of the road, you can call us for a car recovery; this can save you on towing fees.

When you have a fleet of vehicles keeping track of them and when they’re due for servicing can get difficult; especially if the vehicles are being used by different people and travelling random amounts every day. With a fleet service, the car servicing can be completed on a schedule, so you’ll know that the vehicles are running at their peak efficiency and that they are regularly checked for any safety issues. This can help protect your workforce against any accidents caused by poor vehicle maintenance.

Having your vehicles regularly serviced is the best way to keep them operating properly and lasting longer. All of this can save money, as they will not be breaking down regularly and will hold their value better over the lifetime of the vehicle. With servicing your car, breakdowns will be limited and that will keep employees working at an improved rate as they won’t be stuck somewhere waiting for a replacement vehicle, or for the car to be towed away.

How much does a fleet service cost?

The costs of a fleet service can vary based on a few different aspects. You can usually choose between paying per individual vehicle when it is due for servicing, a monthly service fee, or a yearly service fee. There are pros and cons with each method, however, as a mobile fleet service, we’ve found that the best method is a monthly charge as this gives you more control over the costs. With the pay as you go method or a bill for each service, it can be hard to see exactly what is being completed, and the yearly charge can often be a large bill all at one time and you may be locked into a contract that may be difficult to break free from.

As for any fleet of vehicles, you want the best structure and maintenance schedule. By being mobile we can come to your workplace, or wherever the vehicles are located and complete the servicing. We can perform regular scheduled services to keep your fleet in the best condition possible. If there is something wrong that needs to be repaired, we can take care of that at the same time as your services, or as a special call-out.

When you contract Lube Mobile to take care of your mobile fleet service, we'll examine your fleet and give you the best options for keeping the majority of them on the road during any servicing. We can estimate and build a servicing schedule so you’ll know which vehicles are due, and at what times they may not be available. All the work will be carried out by a dedicated Lube Mobile member, and you’ll have the same mechanic complete all your services. You will be dealing with the same person on the administration side of your fleet servicing, so if there is ever a problem or something needs to be attended to, they’ll be fully aware of your service history and be able to help out faster.

For a complete pricing structure of your fleet, we’ll need some more details before offering a quote. This will include how many vehicles, what make and models they are, and what other inclusions you’d like. You can call our team members on 13 30 32, and they’ll be happy to discuss the pricing structure on your fleet service.
