Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Fleet Maintenance

At Lube Mobile, we can offer fleet maintenance, and be contracted to look after all the vehicles in your business. Our team is operating all over Australia, we’re in major cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth) and many regional locations. As we are a team of mobile mechanics, you can consider us as the fleet service that is always ‘near me’. You won’t need to be concerned about getting a vehicle into one of our workshops as we’ll come directly to your business. If one of your vehicles is stuck or broken down on a job site you can call us and we’ll visit it onsite, and that can save you on towing fees and other associated costs.

Our network of mobile mechanics is capable of performing a tyre service, regular fleet maintenance car services, and any car repairs as required. We are your one-stop-shop for all your fleet service needs. As we are a single company and not a franchised group, you can rely on our qualified team to take care of your fleet of vehicles. Our team supports each other to get the job done, and they are not locked into any region, and that gives them the freedom to look after your vehicles regardless of their current location.

What is fleet maintenance?

Fleet maintenance is where you hire a company to take care of all mechanical issues with your fleet of vehicles. It is the best way to make sure that your cars stay on the road longer. At Lube Mobile, we can look after your fleet of vehicles and keep them operating in the best condition. We can provide you with a service guide and recommendation, this will reduce downtime of your vehicles and make sure they’re on the road and working for the maximum time possible. As we are a team of mobile mechanics, we can visit your vehicles on location or at your workplace. All servicing will take around two hours per vehicle.

To get the most out of your service and any warranties on a new vehicle, we suggest keeping to the servicing requirements as stated in the vehicle’s logbooks. As we have experience servicing and maintaining many different vehicles, it does not matter if your cars are from the same manufacturer or a mix of different vehicles of various brands. Our team has the experience to look after all the vehicles in your fleet.

What are the benefits of fleet maintenance?

Fleet maintenance means that you can be certain the vehicles are being looked after properly. Whenever a vehicle is due for a service, you can call our team to take care of it; alternatively, the vehicles can be booked on specific dates. The service schedule you choose can depend on how many kilometres you travel and the age of your fleet. For the best solution, it’s ideal to contact our service centre (13 30 32) and discuss your fleet maintenance needs.

When you have your fleet regularly maintained it can help in finding problems before they become larger ones. In the end, this will save your business money, as it will be less likely that a vehicle will be side-lined while major repairs are undertaken. For example, keeping to the recommended oil changes will make the engine last longer and potentially avoid excessive costs, such as a total engine replacement.

The majority of fleet services are offered at fixed price servicing and can be completed quickly and easily. With Lube Mobile, you’ll be assigned a fleet manager and a mechanic that will complete all the services on your vehicles. This means you’ll know who is working on your vehicles and with one point of contact, it makes communication between your business and Lube Mobile effective and direct.

In having Lube Mobile look after your vehicles you’ll have access to our complete network of mobile mechanics. This is perfect if you regularly travel out of your immediate location, or interstate. For example, if your main business is in Melbourne, but you have employees working on behalf of your business in Sydney, or Brisbane, then you can call on our team for the servicing. When you have one business looking after all your vehicles it keeps everything together, and you can easily see what services have been completed and when.

How much does the fleet maintenance cost?

Many different factors can contribute to the cost of your fleet maintenance. It can be the type of vehicles you have, the age of those vehicles, and how often your fleet needs to be serviced. For an exact cost it is best to contact our customer service centre on 13 30 32, and they can get you in contact with our fleet managers and they’ll offer you a suitable fleet servicing price.

When considering the cost of any fleet service, it is important to note hidden costs such as the time needed to get vehicles to a workshop. If you're having an employee drive it there and then needing transport back, or waiting around for the service to be completed, this can cost you in lost productivity. As Lube Mobile is the fleet servicing team that comes directly to you, you can rely on us to complete the job at a convenient location and at a time that fits in with your current schedule. All of this can add up to substantial savings for your business.
