Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

We can also be booked for car services and other car repairs; your local mobile mechanic can do it all! We have vans working all over Australia, so if you’re outside of Perth and visiting another city, such as Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra and many other towns, we can be there to help if you get into any car trouble.

Our highly skilled network of mobile mechanics is trained to repair tyres and replace them when needed. This is perfect if you're ready to hit the road and notice that you need some new tyres. You can book in at any time through our website, and after a few clicks of the mouse, you’ll have a day and time scheduled. All we need to get started is your postcode, and the size of tyre you require (we’ll show you how to find this). Then you can choose your mechanic, or just go with the next available. If you have a preference for the tyres, you can call our customer service team on 13 30 32 and they’ll check our stock levels, or order them in for you.

If you’ve noticed an unusual wearing pattern on your tyres, you may need a wheel alignment. Lube Mobile is the tyre shop for Perth, and we can book you in and get your wheels aligned properly so you don’t prematurely wear out your tyres and you get the full amount of use from them.

Where to find tyre shops in Perth?

If you’re looking for a tyre shop in Perth, then you probably want a reputable business that is close to home. At Lube Mobile we fit both of these criteria, we’re a national business and have been operating for many years and we’ll come to wherever the car is located. This means you get the best solution when looking for the tyres shop ‘near me’. All our tyre mechanics are highly trained and can fit your new tyres fast and safely. You will find us in all regions such as Joondalup, Rockingham, Fremantle, Armadale, Mandurah and Bunbury.

As we’re a single business and not a joint venture with many different franchises, you can expect the same level of service and care no matter which of our mechanics you book with. But, if you had an exceptional experience with one of our mechanics, you can choose them to help service your car again when you book in next time.

What tyres should I buy for my car?

For most city driving you can select any road tyre from any of the available brands and you’ll get a quality tyre that will last for a few years. If you’re driving on dirt roads you may need a specific tyre that has been designed for that purpose. As a tyre shop in Perth, Lube Mobile stocks the most common tyres that are the right size and suitable for everyday driving.

If you’d rather stick to the same brand that is on your vehicle, you can call our customer service team on 13 30 32, and they can arrange to have them supplied. However, this may delay your booking as in some cases we may need to wait for the tyres to be delivered to our mechanics.

For most drivers, the best tyres for your vehicle are the ones that fit within your budget. Tyre manufacturers make tyres of varying quality and costs. However, often you’ll find that lower-priced tyres will not last as long as the others. But if you are not driving that much then those tyres may be suitable for you. All tyres must meet certain Australian standards for structure and road performance.

What is included in a tyre shop service in Perth?

We are committed to being the best tyre shop in Perth, and as such we perform tyre services properly taking into account what our customers need from a tyre mechanic. We’ll arrive on time and prepare the area for your tyre service. Then we’ll follow our structured tyre service routine:

  • A general condition check of the tyres, including the spare

  • Raising the vehicle and removing all the tyres

  • Replacing tyres (if requested) and performing a wheel balance

  • Refitting the tyres to your car and lowering it

  • Checking that all tyre pressures are correct

  • Tidying the worksite and return the keys

All work completed by Lube Mobile comes with our workmanship warranty. This will cover you for 12 months or 10,000km for any faults caused by poor workmanship. As we’re a nationwide company, if you have tyres fitted to your car and something happens while you're on holiday (e.g., in Melbourne, or Brisbane, etc.) we’ll take care of it for you.

How long will tyres last?

This is always a difficult answer, mainly because tyres can wear at different rates. For a good quality set of tyres, you can expect them to last anywhere from 30,000km to 50,000km, or 2-3 years. Generally, a higher priced tyre will last longer than a cheaper one, as it uses better materials.

As a tyre shop in Perth, Lube Mobile recommends tyres based on what we have available and which ones are best suited for the road conditions. Most people are looking for a good quality tyre suitable for city driving. We offer tyres that are suitable for use under those conditions. We also recommend you have a wheel alignment completed regularly to make sure your tyres wear properly and last longer.
